On May 24, 2012, Christopher D. Alafi informed the Board of Directors of Stereotaxis Inc. that he does not intend to stand for re-election as a director at the Company's 2012 Annual Meeting of Stockholders, which is expected to be held in August 2012. On May 30, 2012, the company announced that William C. Mills, III, has been appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company, effective immediately. Mr. Mills succeeds Fred A. Middleton who will remain on the board of directors of the Company.
