The following are the characteristics of the fake e-mails that we have confirmed.

The sender claims to be Mr. Jeff Nakano, Recruitment Consultant, Sumitomo Electric Industries, Ltd. and offers a position at Sumitomo Electric. (The domain of the e-mail address is a free address '@mail.ru.')

When you reply, a detailed job offer is sent under the name of our president, Osamu Inoue, Senior Director.

(The sender's email address is 'inoue.o@sumltomoelectric.com', which does not belong to us.)

In some cases, the name of our Chairman 'Matsumoto Masayoshi, Chairman/Representative Director' is used.

In all of the above cases, 'http://www.sumitomoelectric.com/' is used as the reference address.

Our official website is at https://sumitomoelectric.com.

In all of the above cases, the company mentions that it will pay a certain amount of commission for the 'Representative/Ambassador.'
