Sumitomo Rubber Industries, Ltd. (TSE:5110) entered into a share transfer agreement to acquire remaining 33.3% stake in Dunlop International Co. Ltd. from Dunlop Sports Co. Ltd. (TSE:7825) on August 29, 2017. Upon completion, Dunlop International will be merged into Sumitomo Rubber Industries, Ltd. In a related transaction, Sumitomo Rubber Industries, Ltd. (TSE:5110) entered into a merger agreement to acquire remaining 39.6% stake in Dunlop Sports Co. Ltd. (TSE:7825) for ¥16 billion. The transaction is expected to be completed by December 28, 2017.
