RESIGNATION OF EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

The board of directors (the "Board") of Sun Hung Kai Properties Limited (the "Company") announces that Mr. KWONG Chun ("Mr. KWONG"), aged 91, has resigned as an Executive Director of the Company with effect from 9 April 2021 by reason of his advanced age in order that he can spend more time with his family.

Mr. KWONG has confirmed that he has no disagreement with the Board of the Company and that he is not aware of any matters in relation to his resignation that need to be brought to the attention of the holders of the securities of the Company.

Mr. KWONG worked for Mr. KWOK Tak-seng, the late founder of the Company, in Eternal Enterprises Limited since 1962 and he joined the Company since 1972 when the Company was first listed. He became an Executive Director of the Company in 1992. The Board of the Company would like to express its sincere gratitude to Mr. KWONG for his long and dedicated services of nearly 49 years to the Company, and in particular for his valuable contributions as an Executive Director for more than 28 years.
