Sun Yad Construction Co.,Ltd reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2021. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 331.67 million compared to TWD 138.96 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 12.27 million compared to net income of TWD 102.73 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.087. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.087 compared to basic earnings per share of TWD 0.6848 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was TWD 791.79 million compared to TWD 979.21 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 57.25 million compared to net income of TWD 7.6 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.3804. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.3804 compared to basic earnings per share of TWD 0.0543 a year ago.
Sun Yad Construction Co Ltd is a Taiwan-based company mainly engaged in the investment, development and construction of real estate, as well as the manufacture and sale of resin and polyurethane (PU) synthetic leather. The real estate development and construction business is mainly engaged in the investment, development and trading of land, as well as the construction investment, design and trading of real estate. The main products of synthetic resins business include PU synthetic resin, PU adhesives, nylon resin and polyester polyols, among others. These products are mainly used for the manufacture of the PU synthetic leather and artificial leather for footwear, leather bags and clothes, as well as the manufacture of the waterproof nylon, such as raincoats, suitcases and tents. The PU synthetic leather business is mainly engaged in the manufacture and trading of plastic leather. The Company mainly distributes products in Taiwan as well as other parts of Asia.
