About Handelsbanken Liv

Insurance for a more secure life and a richer future

Handelsbanken Liv is Handelsbanken's life insurance company and is a wholly owned subsidiary. The life insurance company's insurance policies are distri­ buted through Handelsbanken's branch offices in Sweden, and the vision is to ­contribute towards greater security in life and a richer future. Handelsbanken Liv has assets under management of approximately SEK 220 billion and employs around 100 people.

Simplified digital services

New services were launched for our corporate customers, who are now able to organise and manage parts of their insurance entirely online, making administration simpler.

Expanded product range

Our occupational pension offering was developed, introducing a new entry solution which is Sweden's first Nordic Swan Ecolabelled pension. The new service was launched in early 2023.
