SW Umwelttechnik Stoiser & Wolschner AG announced unaudited consolidated earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2012. For the six months, sales revenue was EUR 23,978,000 against EUR 27,838,000 for the same period a year ago, 14 % lower than in the previous year due to deconsolidating the Isospan Baustoffwerk GmbH and partly due to the project deferrals in project engineering segment in Hungary. Operating loss was EUR 1,020,000 against EUR 1,672,000 for the same period a year ago. Financial result was EUR 109,000 against financial loss of EUR 521,000 for the same period a year ago. Loss before taxes was EUR 911,000 against EUR 2,193,000 for the same period a year ago. Annual loss was EUR 889,000 against EUR 2,076,000 for the same period a year ago. Total of which attributable to associates of parent company was EUR 1,553,000 against loss of which attributable to associates of parent company of EUR 129,000 for the same period a year ago. Net cash used in operating activities was EUR 1,573,000 against EUR 619,000 for the same period a year ago. Acquisition of tangible and intangible assets was EUR 531,000 against EUR 1,023,000 for the same period a year ago. EBITDA was EUR 0.9 million against EUR 0.5 million for the same period a year ago.

The second quarter 2012 shows a similar picture when viewed individually. The company had to accept a decrease of turnover from EUR 19.2 million to EUR 16.2 m, however the company were able maintain earnings. EBIT and EBITDA have been kept at the same level as in the previous year with EUR 0.8 million and EUR 1.8 million respectively. The company's loss on ordinary activities is back in the black from EUR 0.5 million in the previous year to EUR 0.2 million in 2012 the development of the HUF exchange rate contributed to this improvement.
