Sweett Group, the global provider of professional services for the construction and management of building and infrastructure projects, has been appointed by Interserve Prime to provide project management and supervisor services on the redevelopment of the main entrance and retail area at Southampton General Hospital.

The redevelopment is being undertaken through a joint venture between University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust and Interserve Prime. The public-private deal will deliver a new welcome centre at the hospital and a varied range of new retail and food and beverage outlets.
