Announcement of Organizational and Personnel Changes

Sysmex Corporation (HQ: Kobe, Japan; President: Kaoru Asano) announces today its decision to implement organizational and personnel changes, effective April 1, 2024, as detailed below.

1. Organizational Changes

1. Creating new value for existing products
2. • The Production Design Center will be newly established to reinforce the renewal design function (quality improvement, supply continuity, and product value maintenance), thereby promoting to maintain and reinforce the added value of existing instruments in the market.
3. Reinforcing clinical and scientific research activities
4. • Under the Medical & Scientific Affairs, the role of the Medical Affairs 3 will be transferred to the Medical Affairs 1 to reinforce collaboration between the two fields. In contrast, the role of the Scientific Affairs will be divided into the Scientific Affairs 1, which is responsible for scientific PR and planning and promotion of scientific seminars, and the Scientific Affairs 2, which handle planning and promotion of scientific research and precision assurance, to reinforce specialized knowledge and accelerate the speed of implementation.
5. Reinforcing the MR Business
6. • The MR Business will establish the MR Business Development to plan and promote the MR business, and the MR Market Development to handle sales and services, to further reinforce the MR business and expand the market.
7. Promote efficiency in reagent production
8. • The Manufacturing System will be newly established in the Reagent Production to provide manufacturing technology support to global reagent production factories and promote digitalization, thereby reinforcing the efficiency of reagent production through innovation and digitalization of manufacturing technology.
