Taiflex Scientific Co., Ltd. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2023. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 2,079.54 million compared to TWD 2,305.05 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 138.7 million compared to TWD 225.09 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.66 compared to TWD 1.07 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.57 compared to TWD 0.93 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was TWD 3,482.11 million compared to TWD 4,489.22 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 93.12 million compared to TWD 433.54 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.45 compared to TWD 2.07 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.4 compared to TWD 1.79 a year ago.
Taiflex Scientific Co Ltd is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the research, development, manufacture and distribution of flexible copper clad laminates (FCCLs), cover layers (CLs) and back sheets of photovoltaic (PV). Its CLs are applied in the protection of copper clad circuit boards from oxidation. Its FCCLs are applied in notebook computers, mobile phones, calculators, digital versatile disk (DVD) players, integrated circuit (IC) substrates and liquid crystal display (LCD) monitors. Its solar module back sheets are principally applied in the protection of solar cell modules. The Company distributes its products primarily in Taiwan and Mainland China.
