Taiflex Scientific Co., Ltd. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2021. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 2,685.85 million compared to TWD 2,672.41 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 246.88 million compared to TWD 312.91 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.18 compared to TWD 1.5 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.18 compared to TWD 1.49 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was TWD 7,260.6 million compared to TWD 6,342.1 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 616.06 million compared to TWD 563.62 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 2.95 compared to TWD 2.7 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 2.93 compared to TWD 2.68 a year ago.
Taiflex Scientific Co Ltd is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the research, development, manufacture and distribution of flexible copper clad laminates (FCCLs), cover layers (CLs) and back sheets of photovoltaic (PV). Its CLs are applied in the protection of copper clad circuit boards from oxidation. Its FCCLs are applied in notebook computers, mobile phones, calculators, digital versatile disk (DVD) players, integrated circuit (IC) substrates and liquid crystal display (LCD) monitors. Its solar module back sheets are principally applied in the protection of solar cell modules. The Company distributes its products primarily in Taiwan and Mainland China.
