Taiflex Scientific Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2021. For the first quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 2,202.475 million compared to TWD 1,614.049 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 219.410 million compared to TWD 126.485 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 173.049 million compared to TWD 83.549 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.83 compared to TWD 0.4 a year ago.
Taiflex Scientific Co Ltd is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the research, development, manufacture and distribution of flexible copper clad laminates (FCCLs), cover layers (CLs) and back sheets of photovoltaic (PV). Its CLs are applied in the protection of copper clad circuit boards from oxidation. Its FCCLs are applied in notebook computers, mobile phones, calculators, digital versatile disk (DVD) players, integrated circuit (IC) substrates and liquid crystal display (LCD) monitors. Its solar module back sheets are principally applied in the protection of solar cell modules. The Company distributes its products primarily in Taiwan and Mainland China.
