Taiwan Wax Company,Ltd. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2023. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 61.09 million compared to TWD 157.82 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 78.89 million compared to net loss of TWD 17.59 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.85 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of TWD 0.19 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.85 compared to diluted loss per share from continuing operations of TWD 0.19 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was TWD 291.39 million compared to TWD 425.21 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 122.56 million compared to TWD 28.5 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.32 compared to TWD 0.31 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.32 compared to TWD 0.31 a year ago.
TAIWAN WAX COMPANY, LTD. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the manufacture and distribution of waxes. The Company provides soft waxes, hard waxes, Vaseline materials and products, as well as formulated waxes and chemical products used for wax manufacturing. Its products include refined waxes, microcrystalline waxes, intermediate waxes, oil waxes and others. The wax products are mainly applied in the manufacture of candles, damp proof coatings for cartons, crayons, rubber additives and insulating materials for electronics and others. The Company also provides leasing service. The Company distributes its products within Taiwan market and to the rest of Asia, the Americas and Australia.
