The board of directors of Tam Jai International Co. Limited announced that Mr. Tanaka Kimihiro (Mr. Tanaka) has resigned as a non-executive Director with effect from 10 June 2022 in order to devote more time to his other endeavors. Mr. Tanaka has confirmed that he has no disagreement with the Board and that there is no matter relating to his resignation that needs to be brought to the attention of the shareholders of the Company or the Stock Exchange.

The Board also announces that with effect from 10 June 2022, Mr. Tomitani Takeshi (Mr. Tomitani) has been appointed as a non-executive Director. Mr. Tomitani, aged 39, has been appointed as a non-executive Director with effect from 10 June 2022. He is responsible for providing strategic advice and recommendations on the operations and management of the Group.

Mr. Tomitani has over 5 years of experience in the global management consulting industry. He joined Toridoll Holdings Corporation (Toridoll Japan), a controlling shareholder of the Company, in April 2021 and is currently the deputy division director of the international business division and the general manager of the global strategy department of Toridoll Japan, where he is primarily responsible for overseeing, managing and advising on the business development of Toridoll Japan and its subsidiaries. Prior to joining Toridoll Japan and Group, from June 2015 to August 2018, he served as a consultant and then senior consultant at Roland Berger, a company principally engaged in the provision of global management consultancy services, where he was primarily responsible for providing management consulting services in various industries such as automobile, consumer electronics, energy, financial, food, logistics and pharmaceutical industries to clients in Japan and Europe.

From September 2018 to February 2021, he served as a consultant and then project leader at Boston Consulting Group, a company principally engaged in the provision of global management consulting services, where he was primarily responsible for providing management consulting services in various industries such as automobile, telecommunications, finance and pharmaceutical industries to clients in Japan and Africa. Mr. Tomitani obtained two bachelor's degrees in Economics and International Relations from Michigan State University in the U.S. in December 2006. Mr. Tomitani has entered into a letter of appointment with the Company in respect of his appointment as a non-executive Director for a term of three years commencing from 10 June 2022.

Mr. Tomitani will receive no remuneration for holding his office as a non-executive Director. Pursuant to the articles of association of the company, Mr. Tomitani shall hold office until the next following annual general meeting of the company and shall then be eligible for re-election at such meeting.
