Tamura Corporation agreed to acquire a 44.4% stake in ESE Industries Co., Ltd. for THB 37 million.

Tamura Corporation (TSE:6768) agreed to acquire a 44.4% stake in ESE Industries (Thai) Co., Ltd. from ESE INDUSTRIES (S) PTE.LTD. for THB 37 million on November 7, 2017. Under the terms of transaction, Tamura Corporation will acquire 0.37 million shares for THB 37 million. Ina related transaction, Tamura Corporation will subscribe to 2.2 million shares in the capital increase of ESE Industries (Thai) Co., Ltd. for THB 216.6 million. Upon completion of both the transactions, Tamura Corporation will hold 84.5% stake in ESE Industries (Thai) Co., Ltd. For the year ended June 30, 2017, ESE Industries (Thai) Co., Ltd. reported total assets of THB 151.4 million, net assets if THB 20.2 million, sales of THB 235.1 million, operating profit of THB 1.2 million and net income of THB 0.31 million.
