Tarkett's Chief Sustainability Officer Arnaud Marquis took the floor during COP26 last week, together with Pär Larshans, Director of Sustainability of Ragn-Sells.

Fruitful discussions around key issues such as:

  • How to fight climate change while transforming ash piles into carbon negative raw material for flooring ?
  • Why is the circular economy the most powerful way to reduce the carbon footprint of flooring?
  • How to reduce the need for virgin raw materials ?

In the last ten years, Tarkett has reduced the greenhouse gas emissions of its production sites by 38%. In parallel, the company has developed ground-breaking technologies for recycling old flooring to be turned into new flooring.

Where others see waste, Tarkett sees opportunities.
