TATTS GROUP LIMITED TRADING HALT

The securities of Tatts Group Limited (the "Company") will be placed in Trading Halt Session State at the request of the Company, pending the release of an announcement by the Company. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in Trading Halt Session State until the commencement of normal trading on Thursday, 22 June 2017.

REQUEST FOR TRADING HALT - TATTS GROUP LIMITED

Pursuant to ASX Listing Rule 17.1, Tatts Group Limited (Tatts) requests ASX grant a trading halt in respect of its ordinary shares (ASX Code: TTS) to apply with immediate effect from the commencement of trading today, 20 June 2017.

For the purpose of ASX Listing Rule 17.1, Tatts provides the following information:

1. The trading halt is requested pending the making of an announcement to the market regarding the Australian Competition Tribunal's decision on Tabcorp Holding Limited's (Tabcorp) application for merger authorisation for the proposed combination of Tabcorp and Tatts.

2. Tatts requests that the trading halt remain in place until the earlier of Tatts making an announcement to the market regarding the Australian Competition Tribunal's decision and the commencement of normal trading on Thursday, 22 June 2017.

3. The event that is expected to lift the trading halt is the release of an announcement by Tatts concerning the Australian Competition Tribunal's decision.

4. Tatts is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted or of any other information necessary to inform the market about the trading halt.
