Taylor North American Equity Opportunities Fund (the Fund) is a closed-end investment fund. The Fund's investment objective is to seek long-term capital appreciation by investing in an actively managed portfolio consisting primarily of North American publicly listed equity securities. The Fund seeks to achieve the investment objective by investing the Fund Property in the Portfolio. The Fund seeks to construct the portfolio in a manner that seeks to balance long-term capital growth with capital preservation and invests opportunistically in equity and equity-related securities of issuers. The portfolio includes common shares, income trusts, preferred shares, depository receipts, exchange traded funds and securities convertible into equity securities. The Fund's portfolio includes its investments in various sectors, such as consumer discretionary, consumer staples, energy, financials, healthcare, industrials, materials and technology. Brompton Funds Limited is the manager of the Fund.
