Chemical Bank may have completed its $3.6 billion merger with Detroit-based TCF Financial Corp. last year, but it just had the last of its 200 remaining banking facilities retrofitted with TCF Bank signs.

Additionally, all customers will now share the same digital banking and mobile app experience, which is branded as TCF Bank, according to a report in Crain's Detroit Business.

TCF has approximately 475 banking centers, primarily in Michigan, Illinois and Minnesota with additional locations in Colorado, Ohio, South Dakota and Wisconsin It is now considered the largest bank in Michigan.

The company announced a new advertising campaign with Southfield-based agency Doner Partners LLC, and has also pledged to create a $1 billion loan fund for minority and women-owned business in communities, including Detroit.

Mike Jones, TCF's executive vice president for regional banking said Chemical Bank customers will see a little difference with the look of the bank, but will still experience "the same commitment" to quality and customer service.
