Teckwah Industrial : Chairman and Managing Director Appointed for a Second Term as Nominated Member of Parliament

Teckwah Group Chairman and Managing Director, Thomas Chua, has been appointed as a Nominated Member of Parliament ('NMP') for a second term, one of nine individuals nominated by the Special Select Committee out of 41 applications submitted. His first term from 26 August 2014 was cut short by the dissolution of Parliament for the General Elections held in 2015. Thomas Chua, who is also the President of the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry, was nominated by the business community and will be representing the Small and Medium Enterprises to voice their concerns and priorities when Parliament convenes.
