Telus International, Inc. said Friday it expects a weaker euro in the next quarters, as it reported negative FX impact in the second quarter.

The Vancouver, Canada, technology company said that, given the recent depreciation of the euro relative to the U.S. dollar, it now assumes an average exchange rate of $1.02 per euro for the remaining of 2022, versus a previous outlook of $1.08 per euro.

The company said it expects full-year revenue between $2.55 billion and $2.60 billion, representing growth of 16.2% to 18.5% on a reported basis, and growth of 20% to 22% on a constant currency basis.

Telus reported second-quarter revenue of $624 million, up 17% from a year earlier, including a 4% negative impact from FX, "predominantly driven by the euro to the U.S. dollar exchange rate."
