Thai Union Group has continued its strong commitment to support the communities where it operates during the ongoing pandemic. Suthidej Amornkasemwong, General Manager, represented Thai Union as the Company donated 1,000 PPE suits from "Green Giving project 2: PET to PPE" to frontline medical personnel in Samut Sakhon Province, which were accepted by Narong Rakroi, Samut Sakhon Governor.
About Green Giving project 2: PET to PPE
'Green Giving project 2: PET to PPE' was launched as a collaboration between three of Thai Union's plants in Samut Sakhon and Trash Lucky, a startup from the SPACE-F program, with an objective to recycle PET bottles from our plants and turn them into 1,000 PPE suits for frontline medical personnel fighting to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in the province.
Thai Union continues to support local communities, and strongly believes that through collaboration, we will eventually get through this crisis together.
