TransGlobe Life Insurance Inc. acquired Hotel property at Hsinchu from The Ambassador Hotel,Ltd. (TWSE:2704) for TWD 2.5 billion on March 17, 2022. As of March 8, 2022 audit commute has approved the deal.

THE AMBASSADOR HOTEL, LTD. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in restaurant and hotel businesses. The Company is mainly engaged in the provision of catering services and guest room services. It operates Chinese restaurants, cafeterias, self-service restaurants, bakeries, steak houses, bars, meeting and banquet halls and golf course restaurants to offer catering services. The restaurant brands under the Company include Market Cafe, YU SUSHI, le bouquet Bread & Bakery, Andante and ACHOI, among others.
