Estee Lauder Cos. said it anticipates sales for fiscal 2022 rising 13% to 16% as its business starts to normalize from the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The cosmetics company Thursday said it expects organic net sales--which exclude the noncomparable effects from acquisitions, divestitures and brand closures as well as the impact from currency--to rise 9% to 12%.

The company said it expects full-year earnings of $7.04 to $7.26 a share. Excluding restructuring and other charges and adjustments, the company anticipates earnings of $7.23 to $7.38 a share.

For the fiscal first quarter, the company expects net sales to rise 17% to 19% over the prior-year period. It said it anticipates organic net sales rising 11% to 13%.

Estee Lauder said it expects first-quarter earnings of $1.49 to $1.61 a share, or $1.55 a to $1.65 a share after excluding restructuring and other charges and adjustments.
