Furukawa Battery Co Ltd is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the manufacture and sale of storage batteries and related businesses. The Group operates its business through four business segments. The automotive segment is engaged in the production of storage batteries for automobiles and motorcycles. The industrial segment is engaged in the production of storage batteries for equipment operation and uninterruptible power supplies (UPS). The lithium segment is engaged in the production of lithium-ion batteries for drones and other applications. The real estate segment is engaged in the leasing of tenant buildings. The Company is also involved in the insurance business.
