In response to the devastation caused by recent storms throughout the Southern and Central United States, Gap Foundation will make a $100,000 donation to the recovery of the region.

Through the Selvage Fund, and in partnership with E4E Relief, Gap Foundation is able to support qualifying Gap Inc. employees who have been directly impacted by the storms in Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana-where IRS Qualified Disaster events have been declared.

Named after the tightly woven edge of a fabric that prevents it from unraveling or fraying, the Selvage Fund was created to support Gap Inc. employees in times of need. The Selvage Fund provides cash grants to qualifying Gap Inc. employees in the US & Canada who need financial support as the result of an IRS qualifying disaster.

Since its launch in June 2020, the Fund has made over 1,700 grants and awarded nearly $1 million to Gap Inc. employees in need. Gap Inc. employees who wish to support colleagues in need can make a tax-deductible contribution to the Selvage Fund at selvagefund.e4erelief.org.
