We are very excited to share the news that Rafaella Goldman has joined Newsroom Operations as an executive assistant to support Carolyn Ryan, Charlotte Behrendt and Meaghan Looram.

If the name sounds familiar it is: Rafaella worked with us as a temporary E.A. for several months before leaving in January for a full-time position with another company. We knew we wanted to get her back to The Times when the right moment arrived though, and it has.

With the great news that Michelle Shin was promoted to a role as a project manager for Visuals, we knew Rafaella would make a great successor to Michelle. She started last week.

Rafaella was born in New York City but grew up in Sarasota, Fla. She graduated from George Mason University in Fairfax, Va., with a B.S. in psychology. Over the years, she has worked in various settings, including private schools and nonprofits. Rafaella is excited to return to The Times.

Please help us welcome Rafaella to the team!
