RULE 3.7 UPDATE ANNOUNCEMENT AND RULE 13.09 OF THE LISTING RULES AND INSIDE INFORMATION PROVISIONS UNDER PART XIVA OF THE SECURITIES AND FUTURES ORDINANCE

This announcement is made by i-CABLE Communications Limited ("i-CABLE") pursuant to Rule 3.7 of The Hong Kong Code on Takeovers and Mergers ("Takeovers Code") and Rule

13.09 of the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (the "Listing Rules") and Inside Information Provision under Part XIVA of the Securities and Futures Ordinance (Chapter 571 of the Laws of Hong Kong). This is a voluntary announcement of The Wharf (Holdings) Limited ("Wharf").

Reference is made to the joint announcement dated 5 July 2016 published by i-CABLE and Wharf and the subsequent announcements dated 5 August 2016, 5 September 2016, 4 October

2016, 4 November 2016, 5 December 2016, 5 January 2017, 3 February 2017 and 3 March 2017 published by i-CABLE (collectively the "Announcements"). Unless otherwise stated, capitalized terms used herein shall have the same meanings as those defined in the Announcements.

Wharf has informed the board of Directors of i-CABLE that (i) no agreement in respect of the disposal of interests in i-CABLE has been entered into by Wharf; (ii) Wharf has terminated all discussions in relation to any disposal of interests in i-CABLE; and accordingly (iii) Wharf is not aware of any Possible Transaction which may result in an offer being made under the Takeovers Code in respect of the securities of i-CABLE.

Shareholders and other investors of i-CABLE are advised to exercise caution when dealing in the securities of i-CABLE.

Fang, Mr. Hans Michael Jebsen, Mr. David Muir Turnbull and Professor E. K. Yeoh.
