Three-A Resources Berhad appointed Mr. Jamel Bin Ibrahim, 58-year-old, male, as Independent and Non Executive Director effective June 13, 2023. Qualifications: Professional Qualification: A-Levels from Tresham College Kettering, United Kingdom; Association of Chartered Certificate Accountants (ACCA) from University of Derbyshire, United Kingdom; Member of ACCA from University of Derbyshire, United Kingdom and Member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants. Working experience and occupation: Mr. Jamel Ibrahim (Mr Jamel) attended Wellesley Primary School and subsequently entered Malaysia's prominent boarding school, Maktab Rendah Sains MARA (MRSM) in Kulim, Kedah.

He then pursued A-Levels at Tresham College at Kettering, United Kingdom. Mr. Jamel received MARA scholarship to pursue A-Levels at Tresham College at Kettering, United Kingdom after achieving excellent results in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia. His academic achievements gained more recognition when he received Shell Malaysia scholarship to pursue the professional examinations for accountancy (ACCA) at University of Derbyshire, United Kingdom for three years.

For his final year, Mr. Jamel enrolled and continued his professional examinations at Emile Woolf College of Accountancy in London, United Kingdom. Mr. Jamel returned to Malaysia and started his career at Shell Malaysia Trading Sdn Bhd. After serving the company for six years from 1988, Mr. Jamel decided to gain more experience by working at Rakyat Merchant Bankers Berhad and Scomi Berhad before joining Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) in 1999.

In 1994 after completing the relevant experience required, Mr. Jamel was admitted as a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), United Kingdom. Subsequently in 1995, he became a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA). Mr. Jamel most recent accomplishment was to successfully lead the Finance Strategy & Performance Department within the Finance Division of TNB in transforming the Finance Division, aligning and supporting the transformation of TNB into achieving its goal to be among the top utility companies internationally.

Together with Finance vision to be a strategic financial partner to the business, the Division has been transformed and ready to face future challenges which include increasing shareholder value and accountability as well as improving the efficiency of key processes and capability to achieve TNB business aspiration.
