TIMES CHINA HOLDINGS LIMITED The title-sponsorship signing conference between the Guangdong table-tennis team of the 14th National Games of the People's Republic of China and Times China Holdings Limited was held on September 7 at the Ramada Pearl Hotel Guangzhou. Times China officially sponsored the Guangdong table-tennis team so as to help it compete in the 14th National Games of the People's Republic of China.
The signing conference was attended by Deputy Director Lin Ying of the Guangdong Provincial Sports Bureau; Level-2 Inspector Wang Weidong of the Guangdong Provincial Sports Bureau; Former Chairman Gan Zhaosheng of the Guangdong Table Tennis Association; and former honorary vice chairmen of the Guangdong Table Tennis Association, including Yang Haoming, Kuang Banghong, Jie Ye, Zhou Ling and Yuan Xinman; as well as Joint President Zhou Siyang of Times China Group and Brand Director Kong Juhua, also of Times China Group.

In this year's National Games of the People's Republic of China, the Guangdong Times China Holdings Team, led by Olympic champions Fan Zhendong and Liu Shiwen, will compete in a total of six finals, including the men's and women's team finals.
Mr. Chen Jintang, deputy head coach of the Guangdong table-tennis team, said at the signing ceremony, "Table tennis is the 'national sport' of China and a traditional advantageous undertaking for the province. Over the years, under the wise leadership of the Guangdong Provincial Party Committee and the Guangdong Provincial Government, table tennis has developed and prospered in Guangdong Province. The Guangdong team also has great potential for winning gold medals in this year's games. So, as the team is about to set out for the games, I wish the Guangdong Times China Holdings Team excellent performance in the competition and glorious results for Guangdong."

At the press conference, Mr. Gan Zhaosheng, a representative of the Guangdong Table Tennis Association and former chairman of the Guangdong Table Tennis Association, said the National Games of the People's Republic of China is a comprehensive event designed to test the training results of a given period, adding that it's a competitive event of the highest level in China. Facing this competition, the captains and athletes of the Guangdong Times China Holdings Team are ready to compete for gold medals and championships.

Deputy Director Lin Ying of the Guangdong Provincial Sports Bureau also came to the conference site. She expressed her high recognition and praise for the two signing sides, hoping that both sides can obtain mutual benefits through cooperation and wishing the Guangdong Times China Holdings Team good results in the 14th National Games of the People's Republic of China.

In the presence of Deputy Director Lin Ying of the Guangdong Provincial Sports Bureau, Level-2 Inspector Wang Weidong of the Guangdong Provincial Sports Bureau, Joint President Zhou Siyang of Times China Group and Former Chairman Gan Zhaosheng of the Guangdong Table Tennis Association, representatives from both sides signed the cooperation agreement. On behalf of the team, Mr. Chen Jintang, deputy head coach of the Guangdong table-tennis team, presented to the representative of Times China, Brand Director Kong Juhua of the Group, the robes and bats of the National Games of the People's Republic of China signed by all the contestants of the Guangdong Times China Holding Team.
