Toachi Mining Inc. announced the appointment of Alain Bureau, effective January 31, 2018, as President and CEO, replacing Jonathan Goodman, who will transition from President and CEO to Chairman of the Board. Laurie Curtis, Chairman, Co-Founder, will remain on Toachi's Board as a Director and continue to be an instrumental part of the technical team and provide his extensive geological experience. Alain Bureau is a professional engineer with over 25 years of leadership in project management, operating in Latin America countries, gained through notable projects including the mines of, Izcaycruz & Yauliyacu in Peru, Escondida Copper Mine and Altonorte in Chile, Pinos Altos in Mexico, Raglan Mine and the renowned Au-Rich VMS project La Ronde in Quebec, Canada.

Alain expertise also consist of working in cross-cultural situations within political and cultural nuances. Prior to joining Toachi, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Pershimco Resources for nine years and built it into a development stage mining company. In 2016, Alain was instrumental in the merger of Pershimco Resources to Orla Mining.
