Tongwei Co.'s first-quarter net profit surged 66% compared with the same period a year earlier, driven by strong revenue growth.
The feedstuff producer said Monday that its net profit jumped to 8.60 billion yuan ($1.25 billion) while its revenue rose 35% to CNY33.24 billion.
The company's operating profit almost doubled on year to CNY12.67 billion.
