Toshiba Corporation (TSE:6502) is planning to sell its chip memory unit. Nikkei Asian Review reported that Heads of Western Digital Corporation (NasdaqGS:WDC) (WDC) and Toshiba will meet as soon as this month. Western Digital Chief Executive Officer, Stephen Milligan will go to Japan for talks with his Toshiba counterpart Satoshi Tsunakawa and other officials, including those from the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, the report said.
