TOKYO-Toshiba Electronic Devices & Storage Corporation has determined that the integral management capabilities of its business units would be enhanced by bringing together all related divisions of its core businesses at single locations.

Business unit sales divisions and planning divisions currently operating from the company's head office in Tokyo's Hamamatsucho will relocate to the same premises as their related product engineering and development divisions. The Semiconductor Division will move to the Kawasaki Toshiba Building, and the Storage Products Division to Toshiba Corporation's Yokohama Complex. The headquarter function and related corporate staff divisions will also move to the Kawasaki Toshiba Building.* The moves will be made in October this year.

In FY2023, Toshiba Corporation will complete construction of an R&D complex in Kawasaki, Kanagawa Prefecture, and all Toshiba Electronic Devices & Storage Corporation functions in the Kawasaki Toshiba Building will relocate to the new complex.

Toshiba Electronic Devices & Storage Corporation aims for more efficient administration of its business units and continues to promote measures to enhance interdivisional cooperation.
