TotalEnergies EP Gabon, owned 58.28% by TotalEnergies and 25% by the Gabonese state, reports net income of $18 million for the third quarter of 2023, a slight 6% improvement on the second quarter.

It explains that this profit was positively impacted by the rise in the average selling price of crudes marketed by TotalEnergies EP Gabon (+7% to $81.1 per barrel), partially offset by the increase in the tax charge.

Sales amounted to $120 million, up 12% on the previous quarter, while crude oil production contracted by 8% to 14,400 barrels per day, affected in particular by the natural decline of the fields.
