Transcendent Group has today appointed Carsten Maartmann-Moe as Global Head of Cyber Security. The purpose is to accelerate the company's growth within cyber security, which is one of the company's strongest areas of expertise. Maartmann-Moe will leave his current role as CEO of Transcendent Group Norway on 1 September, and is replaced by Maria Haug Edvardsen, who is currently Head of Risk & Compliance.

Carsten Maartmann-Moe has worked at Transcendent Group since 2015 and has been CEO of the company's Norwegian operation since 2019.

“Our service offering in cyber security is one of our strongest and has great potential to grow further. Carsten Maartmann-Moe has solid expertise within cyber security and how companies are affected by cyber risks. Additionally, he can communicate with all parts of an organisation – from technical IT staff to management and the board. With this effort, we will accelerate our growth in the area and meet the growing demand ", said Lars Reidar Vold-Andersen, CEO, Transcendent Group

Maria Haug Edvardsen replaces Carsten as CEO of Transcendent Group Norway, and joins the Group management. Maria Haug Edvardsen has been part of Transcendent Group since 2013 and is an important ambassador for the company’s culture. Her expertise in risk and compliance, combined with in-depth knowledge of the company's business, customers, and markets, makes her an important asset for the company's continued development.

These organisational changes are taking place regardless of the outcome of the public offer to the shareholders of Transcendent Group, which was presented earlier today.
