Triveni Turbine Limited reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended September 30, 2021. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was INR 2,064.6 million compared to INR 1,853.2 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 2,142.8 million compared to INR 1,900.9 million a year ago. Net income was INR 1,737.6 million compared to INR 243.9 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 5.37 compared to INR 0.75 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 5.37 compared to INR 0.75 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was INR 3,905.2 million compared to INR 3,504.9 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 4,038.9 million compared to INR 3,599.4 million a year ago. Net income was INR 2,015.1 million compared to INR 516.4 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 6.23 compared to INR 1.6 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 6.23 compared to INR 1.6 a year ago.
Triveni Turbine Limited is an India-based industrial steam turbine manufacturer. The Company is primarily engaged in the business of manufacturing and supplying power generating equipment and solutions and has manufacturing facilities in Bengaluru, Karnataka. Approximately 6,000 steam turbines supplied by the Company are installed across 20 industries in over 75 countries, including Europe, Africa, Central and Latin America, Southeast Asian and South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation countries. It Triveni caters to varied and diverse industries, including biomass IPP, municipal solid waste IPP, district heating, palm oil, paper, sugar, naval, textiles, metals, cement, carbon black, solvent extraction, pharmaceutical, chemicals, petrochemicals, fertilizers, oil and gas municipal solid waste based independent power plants (IPPs), and captive power plants (CPPs). The Companyâs products include backpressure turbines, condensing turbines, API steam turbines and smart turbines.
