Mr. Din Tan Yong Chia graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Management from Cass Business School, City University, London in 2014. He obtained a Master of Science in Management with information Systems and Digital Innovation from London School of Economics and Political Science, United Kingdom in 2015. After an internship with Morgan Stanley in their Private Wealth Management division, Mr. Din Tan Yong Chia joined the Digital Marketing division of a local tech start-up for a year, prior to joining Tropicana Corporation Berhad Group's Marketing Department.
Mr. Din Tan Yong Chia's father, Tan Sri Dato' Tan Chee Sing, is the Group Executive Vice Chairman and a major shareholder of Tropicana Corporation Berhad ("Tropicana"). His brother, Mr. Dion Tan Yong Chien, is the Group Managing Director of Tropicana and Dato' Dickson Tan Yong Loong, is the Group Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of Tropicana. His brother in-law, Mr. Jared Ang Tzer Shen, is the Group Executive Director of Tropicana.
