We are part of a consortium of companies that have benefited from the perte Hydrogen Value Chain for the H2SALT project. This project, in line with our decarbonization strategy, aims to develop an integrated management system for hydrogen storage in salt caverns, thus contributing to the ambitious European hydrogen corridor plan proposed by Spain.

Commitment to Innovation: TUBACEX, along with renowned companies like Team Engineering Consulting Group (consortium leader), Iberdrola, TAMOIN, and Tubos Reunidos Group, as well as associations like the Basque Energy Cluster and SIDEREX - Cluster Association of the Steel Industry, is working to position ourselves at the forefront of hydrogen storage technology.
Technical Challenge: Despite the limited development and unfamiliarity with underground hydrogen storage technology at the European level, H2SALT is determined to overcome these challenges. The goal is to provide technological solutions for safe, efficient, and cost-effective storage.
With the support and collaboration of all consortium members, we are confident that H2SALT will set a milestone in the hydrogen industry, underscoring our commitment to sustainability and innovation.
