Following the saddening incident occurred in Tüpraş İzmir Refinery today, we urge public not to rely on news that do not reflect the truth which are spread through social media, and kindly ask public to refer to our corporate announcements. We inform the press and public that the event has no impact on the environment and refinery operations. A detailed investigation by us and official authorities regarding the explosion has begun and continues. We are deeply saddened about losing four of our colleagues in this incident. May their souls rest in peace. We wish our heartfelt sympathies and condolences to their families and relatives.
