TYC Brother Industrial Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2020. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 2,971.339 million compared to TWD 4,594.029 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 24.456 million compared to operating Income of TWD 279.214 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 6.235 million compared to net income of TWD 246.814 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.02 compared to basic earnings per share of TWD 0.79 a year ago. For the half year, sales was TWD 6,830.924 million compared to TWD 8,940.657 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 100.216 million compared to TWD 555.134 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 56.045 million compared to TWD 456.740 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.18 compared to TWD 1.46 a year ago.
