TZ Limited ("TZ" and the "Company") announces that the Italian postal organization, Poste Italiane, has awarded its automated parcel locker system tender to TZ's integration partner, FBA Italy. As a result of this tender win, TZ will supply Poste Italiane with their Smart Parcel Locker requirements for an initial pilot program scheduled for deployment early in the New Year.
FBA Italy is a trusted supplier to Poste Italiane and a leading designer and manufacturer of turn-key handling systems and innovative technology dedicated to the worlds of Express Couriers, Logistics, Air Cargo and Industrial processes. With the support of TZ, FBA has worked through a competitive tender process to successfully win the Post Italiane business. It is understood that if the pilot is successful, it is Poste Italiane's intention to build a parcel locker network throughout Italy.
As part of the pilot program, TZ will be supplying an initial five (5) locker banks and associated software and integration services and will train and support FBA Italy to undertake the maintenance and servicing of these lockers in operation.
