The Board of Directors of UCrest announced that the Company had on 21 March 2024 entered into a Business Partnership Agreement ("BPA") with StayOnline Ltd. ("StayOnline") to digitalize the healthcare industry with Artificial Intelligence ("AI") and Internet of Medical Things ("IoMT") into StayOnline digital payment platform offering intelligent medical services to the population in Rwanda, Kenya, Uganda and Zambia, elevating the healthcare industry to a new era. UCrest and StayOnline agree to integrate the payment gateways that are currently supporting millions of users into the iMedic digital health e-commerce platform, providing users with easy access to medical service providers in Rwanda, Kenya, Uganda, Zambia and other countries. Patients will not only have access to doctors in the countries, but also the renowned specialists in the United States, Europe, China, Singapore and other countries.

UCrest and StayOnline will jointly develop iMedic Centre of Excellence ("iCOE") for digital health in collaboration with leading medical service providers and universities or research centres, providing training and certification to the doctors, accelerating the digitalization of the healthcare industry. The Centre of Excellence will serve as a platform for research and development of IoMT and AI in healthcare industry, collaborating with the universities, research institutions, startups or any medical technology companies to accelerate the digitalization of the economy of the country. The duration of the BPA is five (5) years.

The commencement date and expiry date of the BPA are 21 March 2024 and 20 March 2029 respectively. The BPA will mark the beginning of the digital health era in Rwanda and Africa in general, with the use of AI and IoMT technologies in providing healthcare services. The partnership is strategic and instrumental in elevating the healthcare service to the next level, with high degree of automation and efficiency.

The establishment of the Centre of Excellence for digital health will establish Rwanda the hub for digital health of the continent and serves as the catalyst and springboard in evangelizing digital health to other countries in Africa, benefiting people in every corner of the continent.
