Ultra Chip, Inc. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2022. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 618.99 million compared to TWD 820.77 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 95.06 million compared to TWD 263.98 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.29 compared to TWD 3.61 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.25 compared to TWD 3.52 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was TWD 2,117.91 million compared to TWD 1,893.11 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 569.31 million compared to TWD 445.6 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 7.72 compared to TWD 6.59 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 7.37 compared to TWD 5.97 a year ago.
Ultra Chip, Inc. is a Taiwan-based company primarily engaged in the research, development, design, manufacture and distribution of driver integrated circuit (ICs). The Companyâs main products portfolio consists of liquid crystal display (LCD) driver ICs, which are applied in the automobile navigation, driving recorders and others; touch panel controller ICs, which are mainly used in smart phones, tablet personal computers (PCs), handheld game consoles and others; electrophoretic display (EPD) ICs, as well as motor controller ICs.
