Further Update on Group's Manufacturing Operations in Malaysia

SINGAPORE, 25 March 2020:

Following its earlier update on March 23, 2020, SGX Mainboard-listed UMS Holdings Limited ("UMS" or "The Group") has today announced another update on the Group's manufacturing operations in Malaysia.

In compliance with the Malaysian Government's announcement today to extend its movement control order (MCO) nationwide to address the Covid-19 outbreak, the Group's Penang factory will remain closed until 14 April 2020.

The Group will continue to adhere to the directives from the government of Malaysia.

The Group's factory in California, USA will stay closed in compliance with the California State's "Stay at Home" Executive Order in the USA issued on March 19, 2020. The resumption of operations will be subject to further government directives.

Production facilities in Singapore will remain operational.

The Group will continue to assess the impact of these government directives on its business, and will provide updates on the Covid-19 situation to shareholders as well as any other material developments as soon as practicable.
