Unibios Holdings: Financial Results for the Year 2021

Strong Profitability

UNIBIOS Holdings Group of companies has announced the financial results for the financial year 2021 based on the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

During the financial year 2021, the consolidated sales of UNIBIOS Group increased by 16.1%, from ¤7,300 thousand to ¤8,478 thousand. This increase is mainly attributed to the strengthening of the sales of the water treatment sector, that is, the sales of the Watera International Group.

The gross profit of Unibios Group recorded an increase of 15.2% compared to the previous year and stood at ¤3,115 thousand, compared to ¤2,703 thousand. The gross profit margin changed marginally, from 37.0% to 36.7%.

The Group's results before tax (EBT) for the financial year 2021 increased by ¤510 thousand. compared to FY 2020 and amounted to a profit of ¤552 thousands against profits of ¤42 thousands in the previous Use.

The most important thing, however, is that the UNIBIOS Group, in 2021, presented an overall profitable result after tax (PAT). Specifically, in 2021, the company's net profit after tax amounted to ¤334 thousand against a loss after tax of ¤91 thousand in the previous period.

Finally, the Group's total EBITDA in 2021 was further strengthened and stood at ¤1,287 thousands or 15.2% of turnover, compared to ¤811 thousand or 11.1% of the turnover of the previous financial year.
