Unicasa Indústria de Móveis S.A. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2023. For the second quarter, the company reported net income was BRL 1.21 million compared to BRL 10.46 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was BRL 0.01835 compared to BRL 0.15822 a year ago.
For the six months, net income was BRL 4.74 million compared to BRL 20.63 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was BRL 0.07168 compared to BRL 0.31211 a year ago.
Unicasa Industria de Moveis SA is a Brazil-based company engaged in the production and trade of furniture. The Company is active in the manufacture, sale, import and export of furniture made of wood, iron, steel and aluminum. It is primarily involved in the production of furniture made of medium density fiberboard (MDF) and medium density particleboard (MDP). Additionally, the Company sells accessories and decoration items. Its product portfolio include a range of furnishing solutions, including kitchens, bedrooms, closets, home theaters, laundries and toilets, as well as furniture equipment for offices and children rooms. The Company has a network of stores in Brazil and abroad, which sell its products under brand names Dell Anno, Favorita, New and Telasul Madeira. It operates an industrial park located in the city of Bento Goncalves, in the Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul.
