As a sign of the Group's continued commitment to the UK, for the fifth year running, UniCredit UK sponsored the annual ACT Conference - the UK's largest treasury conference which targets all professionals engaged in treasury, risk management and strategic business finance and hosted by the Association of Corporate Treasurers (ACT).

Due to the current restrictions, again this year, the four-day conference was held digitally, and delegates dived into discussion topics around the theme, 'Accelerating strategic change: agility, influence, and opportunity.' Sessions on the future role of the treasurer, ESG, risk management, and digitalisation, were just some of the topical content presented by treasury experts.

With around 2000 guests from over 50 countries, this year's conference attracted a record number of delegates.

Within the on-demand section our team shared two insightful videos: 'Regional focus: Central and Eastern Europe' with David Vials, Head of Corporate Coverage UK & Ireland, in conversation with Dan Bucsa, our Chief CEE Economist, and 'A coordinated strategy to win local Central and Eastern European markets' to discover our solutions in the region with Roberto Poliak, Head of International Clients Management CEE CIB, Riccardo Madinelli, Head of GTB CEE CIB and Dominic Pfisterer, Head of Financing & Advisory CEE CIB.

David Vials, Head of Corporate Coverage UK & Ireland, 'The ACT Conference is one of the most preeminent events for the UK treasures community and provided an opportunity for UniCredit to showcase its unique CIB offering, demonstrate its commitment to UK corporates, and forge new client relationships leveraging on a new format that enabled product experts and clients to participate with ease.'

It's not too late to join the ACT Annual Conference & International Treasury Week. Book now to catch up on all of the sessions now available on-demand until 17 July.
