Union Jack Oil plc is a United Kingdom-based oil and gas company. The Company is focused on onshore production, development, exploration and investment opportunities within the United Kingdom and the United States hydrocarbon sector. The Company has interests in approximately 13 licenses in its axis areas of the East Midlands, Humber Basin and East Yorkshire. Its operations consist of West Newton, Wressle Oilfield, Biscathorpe, Keddington Oilfield, Fiskerton Oilfield, North Kelsey and other assets. It holds a 16.665% interest in West Newton, located within the Western sector of the Southern Zechstein Basin. It also holds a 40% interest in PEDL180 and PEDL182 located in Lincolnshire, on the western margin of the Humber Basin. The Company also has various royalties in the Bakken Shale, North Dakota, Permian Basin, Texas and the Eagle Ford Shale, Texas. It also holds interests in approximately 165 producing wells in three prolific basins in Texas and North Dakota.
