APPOINTMENT OF SPECIAL AUDITOR
Unless otherwise expressly defined herein, all capitalized terms in this announcement shall bear the same meanings ascribed to them under the Company's announcement dated 14 October 2021.
The board of directors (the "Board") of United Food Holdings Limited (the "Company", and collectively with its subsidiaries, the "Group") refers to the Company's announcement dated 14 October 2021 in relation to the Company's response to query 3 of Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited ("SGX-ST") for appointment of a Singapore-based firm as special auditor.
The Board wishes to announce that the Company has identified KPMG Services Pte. Ltd. ("KPMG") as special auditor and has on 14 December 2021 obtained approval from SGX-ST for the appointment of KPMG as special auditor to conduct special audit on the following matters:-
- veracity of transactions involving Hebei Xingrun Shengwu Keji Gufen Co., Ltd. and Chengde Purun Shengwu Zhiyao Co., Ltd.; and
- Inconsistencies of bank balances with respect to Shenzhen Yi Kei Logistics Supply-Chain Ltd and Shenzhen Bao Yao Agricultural Products Ltd.
The Company will make necessary announcement should there be any material development/update.
